Are you a young graduate interested in international relations? Are you curious to learn more about work of a diplomatic mission and how the EU Delegation represents EU interests and values in Kenya?
Traineeships of up to 6 months within the following sections of the EU Delegation to Kenya, starting in July 2024 and/or October 2024:
- Traineeship in the Political, Press and Information Section (PPI)
- Traineeship in the HoD and Trade Sections
Requirements
- Hold a university degree and have a proven interest in the field of international relations, political sciences, security, trade relations, journalism/media or other related subjects, with a particular focus on African affairs;
- Have proven analytical, organizational, research and drafting skills;
- Be a team player and good communicator;
- General knowledge of the EU foreign policy priorities with a particular focus on Africa is a major advantage;
- Excellent command of written and spoken English
Benefits
- Each selected trainee will receive a monthly grant to cover living expenses. All costs related to travels, visa, insurance, accommodation must be borne by the trainee.
