The Yale’s Global Health Equity Scholars (GHES) Fellowship Program 2025/2026

Application Deadline: October 1, 2024.

Applications are now open for the 2025/2026 Global Health Equity Scholars (GHES) Fellowship Program. The Global Health Equity Scholars (GHES) fellowship program (GHES) is a one-year mentored global health research training fellowship funded by the NIH Fogarty International Center and managed by a consortium made up of Stanford University, the University of Arizona, the University of California at Berkeley, and Yale University.

The consortium has collaborations with established medical and research institutions in 17 low- and middle-income countries (LMICs). During the fellowship year, trainees participate in a research training experience at one of these institutions and conduct a research project relevant to the health priorities of the collaborating LMIC under the supervision of their mentors.

GHES is one of seven consortia funded by the Launching Future Leaders in Global Health (LAUNCH) training initiative. The program is sponsored by the Fogarty International Center (FIC) and several collaborating Institutes and Centers at the National Institutes of Health (NIH).
